Admission Guide and Admission Requirements

Admission to all degree programs is open to all ages and applicants who meet the admission requirements. Applicants are not discriminated against on the basis of gender, race, nationality, or disability.

Transfer credits

If approved by a professor in the relevant department, graduate credits from another university (up to 13 credits) may be applied to the master's degree program. The agreement on a limited period applies to the transferred credits. When such courses are recognized by the university offering the master's degree, the extended university courses (up to 13 credits) may be satisfactorily used as prerequisite courses or degree requirements. The number of transferred credits is limited to 13 credits.

Notice on transfer of credits earned at our school

The transfer of credits earned at this Academy is at the sole discretion of the school to which you wish to transfer. The school to which you wish to transfer also has the sole discretion to recognize the courses you have completed (degrees, diplomas, or certificates of completion). If the school to which you wish to transfer does not accept the credits or degree you obtained at this Academy, you may be required to retake some or all of the courses. For this reason, you must clearly define your educational goals while attending this school. If you intend to transfer your credits or degree (graduation or certificate), this includes contacting the school to which you wish to transfer after you have decided to enroll in this Academy.

Transfer regulations

Degree Program (Transfer Credits)
All Bachelor's Degree Programs – Up to 90 credits earned at other schools can be applied to all bachelor's degree programs.

All Master's programs – Up to two-thirds of credits earned at other schools may be applied to all Bachelor's programs.

All doctoral programs – Transfers into doctoral programs are not permitted.

Attendance regulations

Students must attend all registered courses. Absences due to illness or other legitimate reasons may be permitted within a limited scope (typically two times per semester, permitted at the professor's discretion). However, other (unauthorized) absences may negatively affect the course grade. The professor must consult with the student regarding the situation. Absences exceeding this limit usually result in a failing grade for the course.

Expulsion and Suspension Regulations

The school has the authority to expel students who have serious conduct problems both inside and outside the school. Students are prohibited from possessing illegal items or consuming, trading, or distributing drugs and alcohol on school grounds, and if this rule is violated, they will be expelled following a decision by the school disciplinary committee.

Grade evaluation
Grades A, B, C, and D are passing grades, while F is a failing grade. If a course is not completed on time, a "pending" grade may be received. Students with a pending grade must obtain approval from the professor in charge and the Dean. The pending petition must be submitted before the last class session. The professor decides whether or not to lower the grade. If approved, the course must be completed within four weeks of the end of the semester. General grade evaluations for all full-time students are determined by a grade point system. Grade points are determined as follows.

Meaning of Grade Rating Values by Grade
A Excellent 4.0 95-100 11
A-3.7 90-94
B+ 3.3 86-89
B Good 3.0 84-85
B- 2.7 80-83
C+ 2.3 76-79
C Average 2.0 74-75
C-1.7 70-73
D+ 1.3 66-69
D Inferiority 1.0 64-65
D- 0.7 60-63
F (Fail) 0.0 (59 or lower)
I Pending 0.0
W Withdraw from school 0.0
Au Auditing 0.0

The 'Pending' grade is assigned by the professor only to students who are unable to complete the course on time due to unavoidable circumstances, and it requires approval from the Academic Dean. Assignment deadlines are set by the instructor or professor. If the assignment is not completed by the deadline, the grade is recorded as the grade at the time the 'Pending' request was made. The GPA is determined by dividing the earned score by the number of credits. 'Withdrawal' is not used in GPA calculation.

Course Selection
Each student admitted to California Creative College is assigned a counselor. Students must understand that they should discuss all academic questions with their counselor first. Any unresolved issues after that must be taken to the Dean.

Course Withdrawal / Add
Students and counselors must refrain from making changes once the semester program has been determined. Courses cannot be added once two weeks of classes have passed. Courses withdrawn during the two-week period will not be listed on the transcript. All courses withdrawn from the beginning of the third week of classes until the end of the fifth week will be recorded as 'withdrawal.' 'Withdrawal' is not included in the GPA calculation. A valid form must be submitted to the Dean of RegistrationUntil the student's class schedule is properly changed, all subjects that are withdrawn or added are not considered official.

Dropping out
Students withdrawing from this Academy during the semester must follow the procedures by stating their purpose on the form. The date the signature of the Head of Registration is received is the valid date. Mere non-attendance does not qualify for withdrawal. If withdrawal occurs after that time, all registered courses will be graded as 'Withdrawal'. Since a 'Withdrawal' without prior approval is considered an unofficial withdrawal, financial refunds will not be provided, and all courses taken during that semester will receive an 'F' grade.

Class attendance
Each student must attend all registered courses. Absences due to illness or other justifiable reasons may be permitted within a limited scope (typically twice per semester). If an absence is permitted at the instructor's discretion or is otherwise (unauthorized), the student's grade for that course will be at risk. The instructor must consult with the student regarding the situation. Any further absences will generally result in a failing grade for the course.

Regular and punctual attendance is expected of all students at this academy. To earn academic credits, a minimum of 801 TP3T of attendance per semester is required. Each faculty member must record attendance in the student attendance register for every class in accordance with the attendance regulations. Faculty members determine whether a student has met the attendance requirements for the course.

Auditing a course
Students who wish to audit classes or take courses without earning credits must indicate their intention when registering. Auditors are not required to take exams. Audited courses do not count towards graduation requirements. Students may only audit courses for which they are actually offered.

Deferment. Suspension. And expulsion
This Academy reserves the authority to expel students found to have unsatisfactory conduct. Students are prohibited from possessing illegal items or distributing narcotics and alcohol within the Academy; violations result in expulsion. Students with insufficient grade points are granted a one-semester academic deferral and are notified in writing. If the minimum grade point average is not achieved during the deferred semester, the student will be suspended. In cases where extenuating circumstances are considered, a written petition may be submitted to the Admissions Petitions Committee. All decisions made by the Committee are final. All petition requests must be submitted within the first five days of the semester in which the student was suspended. The result of the most prompt petition is usually determined within 48 hours of submission. If a petition is denied, the student is expelled for that semester as an absentee. Students who have committed plagiarism, various forms of exam cheating, or received personal punishment in any form are also subject to this restriction. Expulsion is a consideration. Students who invalidate the assignments of other students by selling or trading theses or short papers (reports) with them will also be punished. Failure to comply with these standards results in expulsion. Personal issues arising in the daily lives of students (affiliated with the school) should be resolved privately by professors, clergy, and the President, if possible. The final decision regarding expulsion rests with the President of IARI.

Class size
Except in extreme situations, class sizes range from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 40 students.

Academic transcript
Official transcripts are issued only upon a written request from a student. Transcripts are not issued to anyone who remains financially liable to the Academy. Official transcripts are not issued directly to students. Requests for transcripts must be made directly to the Dean of Registration.

Academic transcript
All grades are written by instructors responsible for various courses and stored in the Office of the Dean of Registration. Any change to a grade, once recorded, must be requested in writing by the instructor.

leave of absence

Situations may arise where students are unable to receive education. Students may apply for a leave of absence. Applications for a leave of absence must be submitted in writing to the Dean of Student Affairs. The request form must describe the circumstances and duration of the leave of absence. The leave of absence period must not exceed 30 days of the academic calendar. A request for a single leave of absence period of 12 months is permitted. Such exceptions may be decided by the Dean of Student Affairs after considering the student's personal circumstances.
